What Inspires me

Below are some pieces of others work that have inspired my creative styles.

  • Joseph Kosinski: It's a fine line to find that balance: to show people enough to give them the promise of something unique, and something they want to see, but at the same time make sure that when they show up for the movie, they're surprised by what they eventually get.

  • Gulliermo Del Toro: In a world where we are so pragmatic and materialistic, fear is the only emotion that allows even a sophisticated person to believe in something beyond.

  • Spike Jonze: I think at the beginning of a project, you decide if you're in love with the idea and what it's about, or what you think it's about at that time at least. Then you commit to it, and once you've commit to it no matter what, no matter how many self doubts you have, you're in it. The ship's sailed, you can't turn around.

  • Christopher Nolan: A camera is a camera, a shot is a shot, how you tell the story is the main thing.

  • Akira Kurosowa: Man is a genius when he dreams. Dream what you are capable of. The harder you dream it, the sooner it will come true.
